Role Responsibilities

The selected candidate will join the Vascular Surgery Department, engaging in both elective and urgent surgical procedures. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Vascular and Endovascular surgery.

Initially, the appointee will be stationed at our primary facility, with the potential for rotation to various affiliated hospitals, thereby broadening their clinical exposure and skill set. The successful candidate will be integrated into a collaborative clinical team and will participate in the on-call schedule as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Completion of higher training in Vascular Surgery
  • Experience in Audit and Teaching at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., FRCS) or equivalent
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council
  • Registered on the GMC Specialist Register (within 6 months of interview)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Specialist clinical experience such as Fellowship in vascular surgery
  • Research experience
  • Higher qualification (e.g., MD)
