We are seeking for Breast surgery consultant who can join our team of Health care professionals

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clinical Assessments and Diagnosis:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with breast symptoms, including lumps, pain, nipple discharge, and skin changes.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and biopsy to accurately diagnose breast conditions.
- Surgical Interventions:

- Perform a range of surgical procedures for the treatment of breast diseases, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and reconstructive surgery.
- Employ oncoplastic surgical techniques to optimize cosmetic outcomes following breast cancer surgery.
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration:

- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings to discuss patient cases, formulate treatment plans, and coordinate care with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure seamless communication and collaboration with all members of the MDT to deliver comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
- Patient Care and Support:

- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, offering pre-operative counseling, post-operative care, and long-term follow-up to breast cancer patients and those with benign conditions.
- Discuss treatment options, potential risks, and benefits with patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in decision-making.
- Leadership and Supervision:

- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to junior medical staff, including specialty trainees, surgical fellows, and foundation doctors.

Support the professional development of the surgical team through teaching, training, and continuous education initiatives.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) as a Specialist in General Surgery.
- Completion of specialty training in breast surgery and attainment of CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) or equivalent.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience working as a consultant breast surgeon, with demonstrable expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and surgical management of breast conditions.
- Proficiency in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £110.00-£150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
