Role Overview: As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals experiencing homelessness. This position is based at a dedicated hostel, providing emergency accommodation for adults aged 18 and above. Your primary responsibility will be to offer support to clients facing various challenges, including substance misuse, trauma, and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate connections between clients and essential support services, such as healthcare and financial assistance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client interactions and progress.
- Prepare accommodations for new residents by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of rooms.
- Empower clients by boosting their confidence and guiding them through their journey towards stable housing.
Candidate Profile: We are seeking individuals who possess:
- Experience in supporting homeless individuals and those with substance use issues.
