Expedia Group is seeking a talented Data Scientist II, Product Analytics to join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of travel.

As a key member of our product analytics team, you will leverage your expertise in data science and analytical techniques to drive impactful insights and enhance user experiences across our diverse range of travel products and services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines using Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Conduct rigorous hypothesis testing and analyze complex A/B test results to identify trends and optimize product performance.
  • Translate business challenges into actionable analytical tasks, collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders.
  • Present your findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, effectively communicating complex data insights.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely delivery of results.

Your Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science and analytics within the e-commerce industry or a related field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as R and Python.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
