Site Engineer - Highways

Location: West Yorkshire

Purpose of the role: As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing setting out and engineering control on site.

  1. Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.
  2. Undertake material reconciliations and ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
  3. Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings, and produce 2D and 3D site sketches.
  4. Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.
  5. Assist in basic planning, monitoring and programming, and control and minimise waste on site.
  6. Read and interpret data and drawings, and possess relevant Civil Engineering experience (Highways, Rail, water or aviation).
  7. Flexible attitude to work, NVQ Level 3 or higher, SMSTS, and relevant CSCS card.
  8. Office 365 expertise/CAD.
