Job Description

As an Apprentice Site Engineer with Galliford Try, you will play a vital role in shaping the built environment and delivering lasting change in the communities we serve.

We are proud to offer a comprehensive apprenticeship programme that combines hands-on experience, technical skill development, and academic qualifications. Our award-winning Trainee Development Programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the construction industry.

As a Site Engineer Apprentice, you will assist in providing setting out and engineering control on site, working closely with experienced engineers to develop your skills and expertise. You will also have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from residential to commercial and infrastructure developments.

Our apprenticeship programme is fully funded by Galliford Try, and we offer a competitive apprentice salary, as well as a range of benefits, including:

  • 28 days holiday excluding bank holidays, increasing with years of service

  • Car benefit scheme from year two onwards (role dependent)
  • Agile working programme

As part of our apprenticeship programme, you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for travelling to other projects and locations around the UK in the future. This role is site-based with travel.
