Job Summary:

Award-winning, independent consultancy seeks a motivated and talented Transport Planner to join their development planning team. As a Principal Transport Planner, you will play a key role in bringing new developments to life, working with a range of sectors including Defence, Education, Commercial, Health, and Residential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Lead and manage a junior team of Transport Planners, delegating work and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the production of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans, with the ability to produce these documents yourself when required.
  • Manage site access and preliminary junction design using AutoCAD, as well as oversee GIS mapping software.
  • Review and upskill junction modelling using Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY).
  • Engage in internal and external training sessions and design meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience in transport planning at a consultancy or strong background in project delivery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS mapping software, and Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY).
