About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team at Simpson Family Centre in Bangor. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering families and helping them overcome challenges. You will work closely with parents and carers, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them create a safe and nurturing environment for their children.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of families' needs and develop individualized support plans.
- Provide practical advice and guidance on parenting skills, child development, and family relationships.
- Facilitate group sessions and workshops to promote positive parenting practices and build community connections.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, health visitors, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to family support.
