The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication and engagement skills, demonstrating a commitment to the individuals we serve. Proficiency in assessing needs and managing risks proactively is essential, ensuring that support plans promote an active and fulfilling lifestyle with a focus on a 'can do' attitude.
Key Responsibilities of the Support Coordinator:
Deliver outcome-oriented support to empower clients to enjoy meaningful lives, maintain their housing, engage with their community, and more. Address the needs of our clients effectively while taking on additional responsibilities such as managing schedules, onboarding new staff, and supervising team members. Adapt to a flexible work schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Participate in our local on-call system. Administer medications as required.In addition to providing direct support, the Support Coordinator role includes some off-schedule time dedicated to managing service delivery. This position offers opportunities for personal growth and career advancement, supported by favorable working conditions and a nurturing management approach.
A valid, up-to-date driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as travel within the designated area is required.
