As Head of Governance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Trust's governance mechanisms are effective and robust, driving quality improvement and patient safety across our services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As Head of Governance, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of the Trust's governance strategy, ensuring alignment with national regulatory frameworks and quality agendas.
- Providing expert guidance and support to clinical teams on governance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Managing and developing the Trust's governance function, including risk management, incident reporting, and compliance.
- Collaborating with senior leaders and external stakeholders to drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, including the CQC and other regulatory bodies.
As Head of Governance, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing governance policies and procedures.
- Providing training and support to staff on governance and quality improvement.
- Leading the Trust's risk management and incident reporting processes.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Managing and developing the Trust's governance function, including budgeting and resource allocation.
We are seeking an individual with:
- Significant experience in governance and quality improvement in a healthcare setting.
- Expert knowledge of national regulatory frameworks and quality agendas.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing teams and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
