We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Governance. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic corporate governance advice and support to our Board and its Committees. They will establish and maintain the highest standards of governance and support the delivery of good customer outcomes through effective oversight.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders. They will also have a strong analytical mind and be able to identify and critically evaluate the elements of risk in our organisation.
We are looking for a champion of corporate governance who can partner with our business in a commercially sensitive manner. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing a corporate governance framework and be able to use their judgement effectively to identify which issues are important.
The role will involve convening and providing administration support for Board and Committee meetings, producing agendas, taking minutes, conveying decisions and handling meeting correspondence. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring our company complies with its financial and legal reporting requirements.
