Job Title: Head of Governance

Join Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust as we seek an exceptional individual to lead our Governance and Quality Assurance team. As Head of Governance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Trust's governance mechanisms are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Trust's governance strategy, ensuring that all aspects of governance are aligned with the Trust's overall objectives. This will involve working closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective governance arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Trust's governance strategy
  • Ensure that all aspects of governance are aligned with the Trust's overall objectives
  • Work closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement effective governance arrangements
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Governance and Quality Assurance team
  • Ensure that the Trust's governance arrangements are compliant with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant experience in quality governance in a healthcare setting
  • Experience of leading the development and implementation of governance strategies
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
