We are seeking an experienced Head of Technology Solutions to lead our technology estate and drive transformation initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technology solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Own the technical platforms and architecture for our technology estate, with a focus on application and user experience.
- Manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, from solution design to service transition.
- Establish and deliver technical roadmaps for all platforms.
- Develop and implement a DevOps approach and CI/CD pipeline for key applications and services.
- Collaborate with senior managers to scope, plan, monitor, and deliver projects successfully, within budget and on time.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the Technology Solutions team, including carrying out people management responsibilities.
- Support internal projects across the organization that impact or involve the team.
- Manage suppliers in a multi-supplier environment.
- Experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally in a charity or social care environment.
- Experience of delivering technology solutions through suppliers, including defining requirements, evaluating and selecting solutions, and managing delivery and acceptance.
- Project and Programme Management skills, capable of working on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work with teams of varying technical abilities.
- Experience of managing suppliers in a multi-supplier environment.
- A thorough knowledge of technology solutions, including applications, platforms, cyber security, cloud, and integration.
- Broad knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery from concept to in-service.
- Knowledge of cyber security principles.
- Knowledge of IT architecture, including developing architecture models using TOGAF or equivalent methodology.
- Knowledge of Project and Programme Management tools and techniques, such as Agile or PRINCE2.
- A demonstrable commitment to enabling an inclusive and diverse workforce.
