At u&i Search, we are seeking a highly skilled Store Merchandiser to join our client\u2019s team. This is a new role that requires a strong understanding of supply and demand dynamics, critical thinking, and the ability to propose new systems and ways of working.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently, and able to combine quantitative analysis with intuition and judgment. They will be confident in using Excel and have excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to liaise between store managers, product development, and the brand merchandiser.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the store merchandising for one of our client\u2019s premium womenswear brands, focusing on contemporary design in natural fabrics. They will allocate stock to stores, recall non-performing options, review daily replenishment, and develop strategies for store merchandising.

The role requires a strong understanding of the supply chain, including the Distribution Centre in the East Midlands, and the ability to make decisions that consider total supply chain costs. The Store Merchandiser will also be responsible for coordinating stock checks, liaising with store managers, and providing feedback to the design and product development team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the brand merchandiser and develop a full understanding of the supply chain. They will also be responsible for managing supply of uniform for store staff and coordinating stock for window displays.

The ideal candidate will be happy to travel to the DC and stores, and will have a highly competitive salary DOE and discount on product.
