About the Role

In this exciting role, you will be part of the high-performing Finance team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd, responsible for providing a financial business partnering service to the Operations and Resources directorates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating service charges in line with policy
  • Leading the preparation of service charge audits and variable service charge reconciliations
  • Setting service charges for new developments
  • Being the key contact for service charges
  • Assisting in the production of the Group monthly management accounts
  • Producing specific working papers for the statutory accounts, sector scorecard, and ensuring accuracy of financial statements

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a finance team
  • Experience of interpreting complex or difficult data
  • Working towards or prepared to work towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a natural problem solver
  • Very strong ICT skills to analyse data and improve processes
