We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Partner to join our high-performing Finance team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a financial business partnering service to the Operations and Resources directorates.
Key Responsibilities- Calculating service charges in line with policy and ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
- Leading the preparation of service charge audits and variable service charge reconciliations.
- Setting service charges for new developments and being the key contact for service charges.
- Assisting in the production of the Group monthly management accounts.
- Producing specific working papers for the statutory accounts, sector scorecard, and ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
- Experience of working in a finance team and experience of interpreting complex or difficult data.
- Working towards or prepared to work towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a natural problem solver.
- Very strong ICT skills to analyse data and improve processes.
