In this exciting opportunity, you will be part of the high-performing Finance team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd, responsible for providing a financial business partnering service to the Operations and Resources directorates.
Key Responsibilities- Calculating service charges in line with policy and ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
- Leading the preparation of service charge audits and variable service charge reconciliations.
- Setting service charges for new developments and serving as the key contact for service charges.
- Assisting in the production of the Group monthly management accounts and specific working papers for the statutory accounts.
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and maintaining a skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated workforce.
- Experience working in a finance team and interpreting complex or difficult data.
- Working towards or prepared to work towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a natural problem solver.
- Very strong ICT skills to analyze data and improve processes.
