About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Senior Land Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing land opportunities and instructing consultants and development teams regarding the legal, planning, development, and commercial constraints of any proposal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing land opportunities and negotiating legal agreements with Vistry lawyers and third parties
- Procuring technical, legal, and development information to instruct internal and external parties to prepare offers
- Identifying suitable land opportunities on and off market for immediate opportunities, as well as longer-term land with planning potential for liaison with the Strategic Land department
- Creating and maintaining momentum in projects, and working closely with the development team to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
- Highly literate and able to understand and interpret complex legal documentation
- Highly numerate with the ability to undertake residual valuations for land appraisals, undertake comparable sales valuations, and provide sensitivity analysis
- A good understanding of legal obligations and in-depth knowledge and understanding of planning authorities
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- A self-starter with the ability to create and maintain momentum in projects
