Health and Safety Manager

Express Recruitment is proud to represent a leading firm in the East Midlands, seeking a highly competent Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to oversee their HSE department and drive business operations forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and environmental inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and control onsite risks through regular health and safety audits and environmental risk inspections.
- Liaise with various departments to improve and maintain health and safety standards, including auditors, suppliers, operations, transport, sales, and engineering.
- Travel to sites to meet with suppliers and business representatives, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
- Communicate daily with the Health and Safety team, delegating tasks and scheduling workloads to ensure seamless operations.
- Undertake necessary training to maintain Health and Safety compliance, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Full NEBOSH certificate or Diploma.
- Full UK driving licence.
A competitive salary of up to c£58,000 per annum, plus a generous benefits package, including sick pay, non-contractual bonus, and pension scheme.
