Job Title: Offshore Wind Foundation Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Wind Foundation Design Lead to join our team. As a key member of our offshore wind capability, you will be responsible for leading the technical design and development of a diverse range of offshore wind foundation types, expanding beyond monopiles to include other innovative structures.

About the Role:
  • Lead the technical design and development of offshore wind foundation types, including monopiles and other innovative structures.
  • Engage actively in Joint Industry Projects (JIPs), collaborations with academia, and partnerships with technology vendors to develop and implement novel processes and methods for offshore wind project designs.
  • Drive the innovation in design and analysis tools, ensuring the development of efficient and effective processes for a variety of projects.
  • Support the acquisition and execution of offshore wind projects through all stages of development, offering creative solutions for design, repair, and upgrades.
  • Act as a Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in primary steel design and Integrated Load Analysis (ILA) across a range of offshore wind projects.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in civil, mechanical, structural, naval architecture or similar.
  • Proven experience in designing offshore wind foundations, including monopiles and other innovative structures.
  • Strong understanding of offshore design codes and stress and structural analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
