Nursery Manager Maternity Cover Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to cover a maternity leave position at our Smart Start Nursery School in Gravesend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of childcare are delivered, instilling a love of learning to the educator team and children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the educator team to deliver high-quality childcare and education
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the setting
  • Attract and develop high-quality educators to join our team
  • Build strong relationships with parents and the local community
  • Ensure the nursery operates in accordance with Storal's values and policies

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
  • Proven managerial experience within an early years setting
  • Understanding of special educational needs and equality of opportunity
  • Proven experience within nursery administration, with a commercial mindset
