Position Overview:

As a Strategic Vendor Program Manager within the Business Operations division, you will take charge of significant projects and execute essential initiatives for the Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates (SPA) sector of Expedia Group.

We are looking for an individual with a proven history of cultivating valuable relationships and enhancing performance with external partners. You possess exceptional project management capabilities, are adept at refining processes, generating insightful reports, and managing all facets of vendor prioritization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enforce compliance with contractual commitments. Ensure that vendors meet objectives (OKRs) and can adapt to our evolving needs.
  • Establish and track performance indicators, considering service quality, delivery timeliness, and cost efficiency. Hold vendors accountable for maintaining high standards.
  • Coordinate vendor governance initiatives, including daily performance oversight, quality management, operational assessments, and management reviews.
  • Engage in defining and executing processes and systems for vendors to guarantee an exceptional partner experience.
  • Collaborate closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to outline the scope, deliverables, resource requirements, budget, and timelines for new projects.
  • Work with team members to gather comprehensive business requirements that align with our technological and service needs while addressing broader business challenges.
  • Develop project timelines, define priorities, and organize tasks to meet project milestones and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Assess, analyze, and mitigate program risks while generating reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain relevant KPIs to drive actions based on performance results.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance team visibility and influence, ensuring clear prioritization of initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in vendor management or BPO operations.
  • Familiarity with vendor management processes, policies, and tools, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, with a history of leading and delivering complex projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational capabilities.
  • Dynamic and growth-oriented mindset. A self-starter eager to make a positive impact on the organization.
