Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business divisions and departments across MFS globally.
  • Monitor project budget and resources, escalating issues as necessary and working with project team members to allocate resources effectively.
  • Provide project management, prioritization, direction, and leadership to team members to accomplish defined project deliverables.
  • Conduct lessons learned meetings and surveys to analyze data and report to sponsors and team members.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in project management, maintaining a solid understanding of the field and its related technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8+ years of related project management experience, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in project lifecycle management, feasibility analysis, and conceptual design through development, implementation, training, and rollout.
  • Expertise in spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on a wide array of projects and manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile experience.
  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of finance applications, such as PeopleSoft and Essbase.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
