About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused individual to join our chemotherapy Re-scheduling team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be friendly and organized, and have a caring and compassionate approach to delivering high-quality services for cancer patients.

Main Responsibilities

The Cancer Care Coordinator will be responsible for organizing patients' chemotherapy treatment, ensuring person-centered care is delivered in a timely and professional manner, and working to deadlines in line with local and national requirements.

The role will involve working on our Chemotherapy Units alongside our nursing teams in a patient-facing role and may require travel to our Chemotherapy Units across the trust as necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for great customer service, an interest in accurate data and information, and a willingness to learn.

There will be an intensive training programme for this role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality services.
