About the Plant Manager Position:
Kemp Recruitment is representing a reputable organization within the manufacturing industry, looking for a skilled Plant Manager to oversee their operations in Stafford.
Key Responsibilities of the Plant Manager:
- Supervising daily operations to guarantee effective production and uphold rigorous health and safety standards.
- Inspiring and guiding a team towards achieving operational excellence.
- Overseeing the financial performance of the facility, including budget management and cost oversight.
- Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Creating and executing continuous improvement strategies to boost operational efficiency.
- Guaranteeing that all personnel are thoroughly trained in safe working practices and the correct use of equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Technical proficiency in managing both fixed and mobile plant operations.
- Capability to oversee financial performance and comprehend strategic business operations.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence.
- Preferred qualifications include a Level 6 SHE / QCF Level 5 in Health, Safety and Environmental Management, or equivalent.
