Job Title: Assistant Photo Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Assistant Photo Editor to join our team at Resource Recruitment. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for editing images from our onsite photography studio, which are used for customer websites, product catalogues, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Studio Manager and Photo Editor to ensure high-quality image editing and retouching deadlines are met.
  • Work on a high volume of imagery and projects, utilizing clipping paths, masking tools, color correction, and AI tools to manipulate imagery in-line with photo briefs.
  • Save imagery to the company database and batch process images and re-size large quantities.
  • Follow editing techniques and industry best practices.
  • Support the business with other tasks, such as creating visual presentations for customer meetings.
Requirements:
  • BTEC qualification in Graphic Design or a Foundation Diploma in Art, Design & Media or A level equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of using Adobe Photoshop.
  • A good eye for detail with the ability to spot defects in images.
  • Experience editing images.
  • Great organizational skills with a neat and tidy work ethic.
  • Capable of handling a large volume of work.
  • Able to produce consistent photo re-editing to ensure matching products are all uniformed across different angles and lighting.
  • Good written communication and ability to speak clearly and precisely.

Location:

Our office is located in Poole, Dorset, with easy access to public transportation and amenities.

Working Hours:

39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm.
