Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Audit Quality Directorate (AQD) in an exciting period of growth and expansion. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our audit methodology and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on audit methodology to audit staff at all levels
  • Manage and support the delivery of key audit methodology projects, including guidance, support, proposed changes to the audit tool, and training
  • Develop and deliver audit methodology training content relevant to key methodology projects
  • Represent sectors and respond to sector-specific queries, sector training, and support with developing sector-specific content
  • Assume responsibility for selected aspects of team management and development
Requirements
  • Proven audit experience and expertise in UK auditing standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with partners and staff at all levels
  • ACA or similar professional accountancy qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
