Senior Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Manager to join our team at the National Audit Office. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex audit projects and producing high-quality, accessible written outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
- Develop and implement audit strategies, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for value for money
- Manage and motivate a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government departments and external partners, to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and tools, ensuring they are fit for purpose and aligned with the Office's strategic objectives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic background, preferably in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, or business
- Proven experience in managing audit projects and producing high-quality written outputs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
