Key Responsibilities of the Senior Building Consultant

• Engage in local and firm-wide business development activities to enhance the building consultancy services offered from our office.

• Demonstrate a proactive approach, showcasing excellent interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Possess a solid understanding of IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, Excel, and AutoCAD.

• Conduct building surveys and prepare schedules of condition.

• Oversee project delivery related to the design and renovation of existing structures, including responsibilities in Contract Administration.

• Maintain knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Defect Analysis: Ability to assess and identify issues within a building, compile reports detailing the defects, and propose rectification strategies.

• Experience in drafting specifications and preparing Tender Documentation.
