Hotel Receptionist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Ibis Bridgwater. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage hotel reservations, room assignments, and guest requests, ensuring seamless communication with the hotel team.
- Operate the hotel switchboard, handling internal and external calls, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's facilities, services, and local area, providing recommendations and information to guests.
- Work collaboratively with the hotel team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
