Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager in Orthopaedics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the orthopaedic sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the orthopaedic sector \t
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including orthopaedic surgeons, hospital administrators, and other healthcare professionals \t
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with orthopaedic companies and healthcare providers \t
  • Provide sales support and training to internal teams, including product knowledge and sales techniques \t
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth \t
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to drive business growth and revenue expansion \t
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy \t
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, as set by management \t
  • Contribute to the development of sales materials, including sales collateral, presentations, and proposals \t
  • Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and other industry events, as required \t
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by management \t
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in sales, preferably in the medical devices or orthopaedic sector \t
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders \t
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets \t
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement \t
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team \t
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively \t
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments \t
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously \t
  • Ability to travel, as required, to meet with clients and attend industry events \t
  • Full UK driving license \t
  • Living on patch or willing to relocate \t
