Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the University of Cambridge. As a Research Assistant/Research Associate, you will be responsible for conducting research in molecular/cellular biology, with a focus on cellular decision-making mechanisms.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in live-cell microscopy and tracking, as well as molecular approaches for analyzing chromatin and transcription factor binding. You will be working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to explore mechanisms regulating cell choices in development, health, and disease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in molecular/cellular biology, with a focus on cellular decision-making mechanisms
  • Develop and implement live-cell microscopy and tracking techniques
  • Analyze chromatin and transcription factor binding using molecular approaches
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve research goals

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field (Research Associate) or degree in a STEM/biological subject (Research Assistant)
  • Experience in cell and molecular biology techniques
