Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health & Safety Manager to play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of safety across our organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety strategies that align with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine strategic health and safety plans to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety within our fitness facilities.
- Create, implement, and enforce clear and concise health and safety policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations.
- Provide comprehensive training programs to empower colleagues at all levels to understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Establish effective incident response procedures and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Analyze safety data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in our health and safety practices.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management teams, operations staff, and human resources, to promote a shared commitment to safety.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans to ensure the well-being of our members and colleagues in unforeseen situations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety management.
- Demonstrate proven experience in health and safety management within the fitness industry.
- Have a successful track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies.
- Exhibit strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Be passionate about health and safety and possess the ability to engage and motivate colleagues.
