We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons First Class Day Nursery and Preschool in Aberdeen.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a Level 3 qualified individual with previous experience working within an Early Years setting. As a Third in Charge, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to all children in our care.
You will also act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe working environment
- Ensure commercial success of the nursery by maintaining expenditure inline with FTEs and budget KPIs
- Engage with the Local Authority to understand the local offer and support practice in all areas of the nursery
