Lead a Team of Early Years Professionals

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons First Class Day Nursery and Preschool in Aberdeen.

About the Role

As a Third in Charge, you will be responsible for leading a team of Early Years professionals to deliver exceptional care and education to children in our care. You will act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the day-to-day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively to maintain a positive, happy, and safe working environment
  • Promote the nursery to current and potential customers
  • Ensure commercial success by maintaining expenditure inline with FTEs and budget KPIs
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
