Claims Handler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our busy team at AP Group Ltd. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of insurance claims, including administration, correspondence, and liaison with insurers and repairers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process insurance claims from receipt to resolution
  • Administer claims-related correspondence and documentation
  • Liaise with insurers, repairers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims
  • Process engineers' reports and other relevant documentation
  • Ensure accurate and timely claims processing

Requirements:

  • General insurance experience and knowledge of claims administration
  • Professional insurance qualification, such as Cert CII or higher, is an advantage
  • Strong desire to develop a career in insurance and willingness to gain Chartered Insurance Institute qualification
  • Good level of education and proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Local residential qualification or 5 years of continuous residence in Jersey
