Claims Handler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our busy team at AP Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of insurance claims, including administration, correspondence, and liaison with insurers and repairers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage insurance claims from initial notification to final resolution
  • Administer claims-related documentation and correspondence
  • Liaise with insurers, repairers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient claims processing
  • Process engineers' reports and other relevant documentation
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • General insurance experience, preferably in claims administration
  • Professional insurance qualification, such as Cert CII or higher
  • Strong desire to develop a career in insurance and willingness to gain Chartered Insurance Institute qualification
  • Good level of education and proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Local residential qualification or 5 years of continuous residence in Jersey
