Claims Handler Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious professional to join our busy team as a Claims Handler. The successful candidate will be responsible for all insurance claims related matters, including administration, management of correspondence, liaison with insurers and repairers, and processing of engineers reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer insurance claims from initial notification to final settlement.
  • Coordinate with insurers, repairers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims.
  • Process and analyze engineers reports to determine the extent of damage and liability.
  • Communicate with policyholders to provide updates on the status of their claims.

Requirements:

  • General insurance experience and ideally previous exposure to claims administration.
  • Professional insurance qualification such as Cert CII or higher.
  • Strong desire to develop a career in Insurance and keen to gain the Chartered Insurance Institute qualification.
  • Good level of education and confident user of MS Office tools.
