Insurance Claims Specialist

A reputable Insurance Broking and Risk Management firm, AP Group Ltd, is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Claims Handler to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all insurance claims related matters, including administration, correspondence, liaison with insurers and repairers, and processing of engineers reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage insurance claims from initial reporting to final resolution
- Administer claims-related correspondence and documentation
- Liaise with insurers, repairers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient claims processing
- Process engineers reports and other technical documentation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- General insurance experience, preferably in claims administration
- Professional insurance qualification, such as Cert CII or higher, is a significant advantage
- Strong desire to develop a career in insurance and willingness to gain the Chartered Insurance Institute qualification
- Good level of education and confident user of MS Office tools
- Local residential qualification or continuous residence in Jersey for at least 5 years
