Nursery Cook Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Assistant to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. As a Nursery Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food for our clients, using fresh seasonal ingredients and following our company's brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards.
  • Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company's brand standards.
  • Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
  • Assist with pot wash duties.

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.
  • Innovation and passion for great food.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
