PhD Researcher: Spatial Data Integration for Breast Cancer Treatment Response

Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute is seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team and contribute to a groundbreaking project focused on predicting breast cancer treatment response using multi-modal spatial data integration.
Research ObjectivesThe successful candidate will be responsible for collating diverse data, placing them in a shared coordinate space, and uncovering critical correlations that underpin treatment effect. This project offers the opportunity to build multi-modal predictive models that will be tested in independent datasets, with the potential to surpass the current state-of-the-art.
MethodologyThe researcher will work closely with our team to devise efficient computational tools to parse and integrate multi-modal spatial measurements across assays. Funding and EligibilityThis four-year studentship is fully funded by Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, including full University fees and a stipend of £21,000 per annum. We welcome applications from both UK and overseas students who hold or expect to gain a First/Upper Second Class degree in a relevant subject.
