Merrifield Consultants is excited to collaborate with a Health charity in the search for a Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager to become part of their dynamic and successful team. This position is essential for overseeing significant Trust relationships that align with the organization’s core and programmatic objectives, focusing on providing exceptional stewardship for current funders while also nurturing new trust or statutory partnerships.

Position Title: Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager

Organization: Health Charity

Reporting Line: Head of Trusts and Foundations

Salary Range: £39,000-45,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Work Arrangement: Central London (Hybrid)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish and sustain a robust pipeline of medium to high-value prospects (50K+), collaborating individually and with the Prospect Research Manager to identify and assess prospects, particularly focusing on high-value, strategic, and multi-year opportunities.
  • Draft persuasive, high-quality funding proposals to secure income for various projects, ensuring that written proposals resonate with funders' interests.
  • Manage key Trusts and Statutory funders, overseeing all facets of donor relations, including the development of impact reports.
  • Implement effective reporting systems for tracking project progress and financial oversight of grant expenditures.
  • Lead the creation of case for support and proposal documents for new initiatives as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in conducting thorough prospect research and managing a solid pipeline.
  • Experience in crafting tailored written proposals and reports for Trusts and Statutory supporters, with a proven track record of building and managing a pipeline of high-value prospects.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear summaries.
  • Strong attention to detail, coupled with well-developed editing and proofreading capabilities.
