The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of software for our quantum networking solutions. As a key member of our software team, you will work closely with our scientists and engineers to design, develop, and maintain software for internal lab use and prototype products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop software in Python and Rust to interface with proprietary optics, electronics, and mechanical hardware, as well as third-party scientific equipment.
  • Collaborate with FPGA and electronics system integration specialists to enable state-of-the-art quantum network control systems.
  • Design and develop user interfaces for streamlining product demonstrators and measurement control.
  • Make proactive recommendations to improve workflows and system design.
Requirements
  • Ability to solve complex problems and communicate solutions to a diverse audience.
  • Proactive thinking and a positive mindset.
  • Dedication to delivering well-tested and reliable code.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience designing software to control test equipment or other hardware.
