The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our agile software team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing software tools for our scientists to develop, test, and enhance our quantum networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software in Python and Rust to interface with proprietary optics, electronics, and mechanical hardware, as well as third-party scientific equipment.
  • Collaborate with FPGA and electronics system integration specialists to enable state-of-the-art quantum network control systems.
  • Design user interfaces for streamlining product demonstrators and measurement control.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of our software architecture.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and Rust.
  • Experience with FPGA and electronics system integration.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse audience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Designing software for embedded systems.
