Job Title: Head of Risk

At Vallum Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Risk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and controlling risk within our trading business unit, ensuring that all new business transactions and risks are recorded correctly and in a timely manner within our risk system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise closely with the trading team and other trading functions to ensure that all risks are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Evaluate and develop the trade management processes within our CTRM system to ensure that they are aligned with company requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Head of/Director of Risk at a Trading House or Hedge Fund.
  • Previous experience with CTRM systems.
