Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at Matched, a leading Manchester-based SaaS company. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating pipeline of new sales opportunities by creating awareness, account prospecting, and qualifying leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect into new contacts and introduce them to our business, qualifying their needs and pain points.
  • Utilize various channels, including marketing-generated leads, social media research, and self-generated leads, to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Meet minimum KPI targets, which are comfortably achievable, and work within a growing sales team to achieve sales goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product and value proposition to provide high-level introductions to prospects.
  • Understand our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to target prospecting activity to the correct personas.
  • Ensure appointments booked with prospects are accurate and within correct time slots for our Sales Consultants.
  • Provide best practices and feedback to Managers and Sales Operations to continuously improve sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an SDR, Internal Sales Executive, Inside Sales, Business Development Executive.
  • Eager to learn, adapt well, and thrive through change.
  • Self-motivated to consistently meet performance goals.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Enjoy working as a part of a team.
  • Confident telephone presence.
  • Previous experience with CRM tools would be beneficial but not essential.
