Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Shropshire. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential setting.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to our high standards of care and practice.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £11.92 - £12.54 per hour, with additional £30 per sleep-in rate.
  • Training and development plans to meet your individual needs, including NVQs and career progression opportunities.
  • 28 days' holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays and rising with service.
  • Paid sickness leave and 234 hours annual leave per year.
  • Refer a friend scheme and additional overtime/on-call/sleep-in/disturbance rates.
  • Casual dress code, free onsite parking, and meals provided on shift.

  • Days out and activity days off-site.

All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide at least two references covering the past two years. Applicants must also provide reference information for all positions related to working with children and the vulnerable and details of employment going back to full-time education.
