Corporate Legal Advisor - Commercial Affairs

Location: London - On-site presence required

The Corporate Legal Advisor - Commercial Affairs will play a pivotal role in delivering legal insights and support across various operational facets of OPEN Health. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating & Transformation Officer, this position entails the oversight and interpretation of legal frameworks, crafting and negotiating contracts, managing disputes, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in corporate and commercial law, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal counsel to executive management on pertinent issues
  • Keeping abreast of legislative developments and regulatory changes
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual agreements
  • Overseeing litigation processes and strategies
  • Facilitating corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Establishing and enforcing compliance protocols
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis
  • Assisting in strategic business planning
  • Enhancing the operational efficiency of the legal department
  • Delivering legal training and guidance to staff

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate and commercial law
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective time management
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution
  • Licensed and in good standing with relevant legal authorities
