The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, monitoring, and supervision of Day Care services at Thor House, Thurso. This will involve working closely with the wider team to develop and implement packages of care that meet the needs of service users and promote their independence within the community.
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and standard of professional practice within the service, in line with the Scottish Social Services Council legal requirements and NHS policies and procedures. This will involve working collaboratively with integrated teams and other partnership services to achieve the Health & Social Care Standards and regulatory requirements of the Care Inspectorate.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a Health/Social Care setting and a deep understanding of the challenges facing Health and Social Care in the community. They will be able to prioritize work effectively and manage a demanding workload.
The post holder will be required to have relevant qualifications to evidence their ability to meet the registration requirements. If not already achieved, they will be required to undertake the Registered Manager's award.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality care and services.

NHS Scotland is committed to reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. The successful candidate will be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which they will be paid.
