Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at our new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8-18 who have experienced trauma and are vulnerable to sexual exploitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to children and young people
  • Work closely with the Registered Children's Home Manager to achieve outstanding Ofsted ratings and maintain high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care and support

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of supervisory and shift leader experience in a children's residential setting
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Ability to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services
